Solar Powered Signs

Signcorp is proud to introduce its new product line of advanced solar powered lighting and signage solutions. By making power management our number one priority, Signcorp takes electrically powered commercial products off the grid by putting power first. We can custom solar designed solutions, for many different solar sign & lighting applications, including complete sign retrofit applications.

How It Works
Our solar system configurations are engineered around a power management principal, we’re able to integrate a minimal amount of photovoltaic arrays, batteries and the use of highly efficient LED modules. Solar-powered lighting consists of a solar panel or photovoltaic cell that collects the sun's energy during the day and stores it in a rechargeable gel cell battery. The intelligent controller senses when there is no longer any energy from the sun and automatically turns the highly efficient LED lighting on using a portion of the stored energy in the rechargeable battery.

Cost of Solar
Installation of traditional lighting, which means tying your light fixtures to an electrical grid system, requires trenching and underground wiring. The process is lengthy, costly and inconvenient to others. Then, you have the endless expense of monthly electrical bills. Costs associated with underground wiring, on-site transformers and electrical enclosures are often greater than newly installed solar lights. Additionally, if your project is in environmentally sensitive areas like wetlands, along a seashore, or in sensitive ecosystems, solar lights minimize the impact on nature by avoiding below-grade services and unsightly enclosures. Regardless of whether you are installing new solar lighting or converting traditional to solar, you eliminate ongoing payments for electricity and you never have to worry about brownouts / blackouts or Power failures.

Solar Energy Facts
The sun is a direct source of energy. Using renewable energy technologies, we can convert that solar energy into electricity.

All solar lights are “wireless”. They are not “hooked up” to external sources of power. Solar lights produce no pollution and cause no harmful environmental effects.
